Museums

From History to Science to the Arts, our area is loaded with incredible museums !!

As a history buff I enjoy walking through the National Heritage Museum on Marrett Road in Lexington –“the birthplace of Liberty” !! My wife loves viewing the paintings and sculptures in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, as for my kids –its always been the Museum of Science !!


Hanover Street !!

Hanover Street in Boston’s North End:

There are so many wonderful places to eat throughout New England, from Maine to Cape Cod to Rhode Island and back again –but my all-time favorite is a walk down Hanover Street in Boston’s Historic North End –just a 15 minute drive down Storrow Drive from my house in Cambridge !!

Pizza, pasta, and pastry !!



Fenway Park

Do you recall the names Yaz, Tony Conigliaro, or George Scott ?? –how about Fisk, Rice, Lynn and Evans !!?? I grew up in the Strawberry Hill section of West Cambridge, but when asked, I like to say that I grew up on Lansdowne Street in Fenway Park –"America’s Favorite Ballpark" !!

For me, jumping on the Red Line to Park Street and crossing over to the Green Line to Kenmore Square was going home !! Cheering on Fisk or Monty, Looie or Bill Lee was where I wanted to be !!
