He told me that if I could serve the lunch and dinner crowd at a busy restaurant and keep my customers happy, then real estate would be "easy for me"! I took the challenge. Learning the business was not always as easy as I was told, however, the past 31 years of being in Real Estate have been most rewarding. My experience has enabled me to provide the best possible service to my clients and customers, with the least amount of inconvenience for them. During the course of my career, I felt that it was important to educate myself in all areas of Real Estate. This included obtaining my CRS and GRI designations. To obtain my GRI pin, I had to complete 90 hours of classroom instruction and pass three exams. The CRS designation is obtained by only 5% of all Realtors. To obtain this designation I needed to satisfy numerous educational requirements as well as the documentation of hundreds of transactions. I have also taken appraisal courses, continuing education requirement courses and numerous daily andweekly seminars on all aspects of the Real Estate business. It is my opinion that to be an effective agent for my Buyers and Sellers, I must be the best educated agent possible. In 1992, I was approached by the Rockland Trust Company to work as a consultant for their Real Estate Owned (REO) department and Consumer Loan Division. This entails my inspection of their mortgaged properties: the preparing of Broker Price Opinions for distressed properties: and the valuation of commercial buildings and condominiums. I had also been a consultant with The Abington Savings Bank.  Purchasing or selling Real Estate is one of the largest investments a person can make. Through my years of Real Estate experience and education, I have acquired the skills necessary to make virtually all of my customer's transactions as successful as possible.
