My Background
A lifetime Massachusetts resident, I have experience in a variety of markets. For 20 years I lived and worked in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood specializing in the sale of condominiums in traditional brownstone buildings or new high-rise developments. For the past several years, I have been living and working on the North Shore where there are a variety of options for homebuyers and investors (single family homes, luxury homes, ocean front homes, condominiums and multifamily homes). Whether I work in Boston or in the suburbs, I have been able to achieve great success in both markets. I believe this is due to my strong grasp of the real estate market as well as my commitment to my clients and my profession. I have earned the recognition of Individual Top Producer from my firm for several months or quarters in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

My professional background is unique. Prior to working in real estate, I was a senior administrator in higher education, responsible for human resources, marketing (national and international) and communication, public safety, and institutional research. In addition, for 11 years, I managed an eight-unit condominium building in Boston. The building was in need of major restoration and financial stability. Under my management, the building was completely restored, and a reserve fund created. Today the association has no debt, fees have not increased in 10 years, and the association enjoys a significant reserve.

My experience and knowledge of marketing and property management aids both sellers and buyers. An advocate of education, I realize how important it is for a real estate professional to understand all aspects of real estate, so I elected to complete a series of courses in real estate appraisal through the Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Appraisers. Most real estate agents understand market value but without additional education/training, may not understand the formula/method that appraisers use to determine the appraised value of a property, which is what matters to an underwriter.

Working with a realtor who understands how to market a property, how to price it properly the first time and how to guide you through the entire process is Priceless. I welcome the opportunity to help sellers and buyers on the North Shore, in Boston and surrounding neighborhoods.
