What does Wen Realty do for buyers?

  • First and foremost get Pre-approved, find out what you can afford to buy. Once you find a lender you are comfortable with , let them determine how much of a mortgage is available for you. Email us if you need assistance with this or would like to get our list of mortgage brokers.
Buyers should complete the mortgage pre-qualification process as soon as possible (before even looking at any property) to learn how expensive a home they may purchase. (If you are a first-time buyer, be aware that many lenders and government agencies, like MassHousing, offer below-market interest rates for qualified buyers who are purchasing their first home.)

  • Our representation and help to you is FREE. 
How do we get compensated for our work and time?.  We get our compensation from the listing agent's commission that the seller has agreed to pay such agent for the marketing and sale of his/her home.
  • Knowing what you want and helping you find it.
When we agree to work together to find your home, we will learn as much as we can about what you are looking for. This includes the basics like how many bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as what you may or may not be willing to sacrifice (e.g., location, updating, lot size) to get the right home that you can afford.
  • Using our technology skills to your advantage.
Information is key. When we find a home you are interested in buying, we will provide you with information about that property, such as any disclosures the property may have (normally not available for the general public to view) and also on other similar homes that are on the market or that have recently sold so that you can feel good about the offer you are making.
  • Staying with you through the process.
Sometimes buyers find what they are looking for right away. Other times it can take months. We like to maintain regular contact with our buyers to ensure that we work together to find the right home—no matter how long it takes.
  • We will negotiate and handle all the paper work that's involved in a real estate transaction, guide you and explain it all to you in simple English.  Remember we work for you and you make the final decision not us.
  • After you buy, you can still call on us for advice and referrals to make the transition into your new home as smooth as possible. As a certified post-purchase counselor, I am able to walk you through some of the common pitfalls new homeowners can face and give you a head start on being happy and comfortable homeowners.
