Mr. Harold Mateo, MBA, CSL, CBR currently serves as the Managing Director of Strategy and Business Development for Clearwater Real Estate Investment Group and as the Managing Broker of RSC Global. Prior to that, Mr. Mateo was a VP of Strategic Initiatives for Santander USA, and a Senior Business Manager for the Office of the CEO at Brightstar Corp. Providing direct support to the Chairman & CEO Mr. Marcelo Claure, now COO of Softbank. Mr. Mateo has over 16 years of experience in Advisory Services as a Strategy & Regulatory Consultant. Mr. Mateo has worked throughout the world, including: the US, Mexico, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, the U.K. and China. Mr. Mateo's experience has ranged from Strategic Management Consulting, Business Development, and as an Anti-Money Laundering investigator at some of the world's largest financial institutions. Mr. Mateo is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). At RSC Global, Mr. Mateo is responsible for business development, managing client relationships, and creating RSC Global's short and long term strategies.
Mr. Mateo has an MBA from Babson College and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a Minor in Law from Bentley University. Additionally, Mr. Mateo has attended the Summer Venture Management Program (SVMP) at Harvard Business School, and Summer Sessions at Phillips Exeter Academy and Cushing Academy. In 2011, Mr. Mateo was selected by the World Economic Forum to the Global Shaper Community for the Dominican Republic and is now an Alum of the Boston Hub. Mr. Mateo was the former President of the Board of Directors for Teen-AIDS Peer Corps, which has provided AIDS education in more than 85 countries to youth.
