MASS SAVE Free Energy Audit for Massachusetts Homeowners


     In 2009, the Massachusetts State Legislature passed The Green Communities Act ( GCA). One of the outcomes was a collaborative program called MassSave. MassSave is not an organization, rather it is a brand established, AND FUNDED, by 11 Program Administrators of electric and gas companies. 

You pay into this fund with a line item on your energy bill. 

     One of the most widely known energy efficiency programs offered through MassSave is the FREE HOME ENERGY AUDIT. Learn more below.

     The homeowner should be home and plan to accompany the assessor as s/he evaluates the house. This is an opportunity to learn how the systems in your home operate, as well as how to maintain and upgrade them.   Bonus gifts, and contributions toward energy efficient upgrades are part of the program.
